If you hire a personal agent (personal shopper) you make sure that you will benefit from all of the possible advantages and avoid experiencing headaches and costly mistakes due to cultural misunderstandings or lack of knowledge.

Your agents are getting paid directly by you. Hence, they will always be on your side to defend your interests. In general, you will not have any extra costs, but you will benefit from the more favourable prices that your agent will negotiate for you. Moreover, they will try to include their commission into the final real estate commission, which in general gets split between the seller´s agent and buyer’s agent. It is common on the Canary Islands that almost all Real Estate Agencies cooperate with each other.

STEP 1- ANALYZING WHAT YOU´RE LOOKING FOR…

A first free consultation (a meeting, video conference, telephone, email…) getting to know each other and going through the check form to make sure the chemistry is working 🙂 We’ll clarify every aspect of your needs to get covered during the search.

STEP 2- You CONFIRM the mandate

If you agree to all the points, you now give a search mandate to your agent and they then immediately start working for you:

  • Going through all the listing platforms and present the properties with additional information to you, which will make it easier to compare them.
  • Of course, you are always free to look by yourself. You can then share these offers with your personal shopper who’ll analyze them with all their knowledge.
STEP 3- Your agent will now help with EVERYTHING…

Your agent is now working for you and will help you to set up a local bank account, a tax number, a contract with a local mobile telephone company (and help you to find the best plan for your needs), plus any other service upon request…

STEP 4- BUYING THE PROPERTY

You already fell in love with your dream property?

After closing in on and analysing interesting properties, and comparing them with each other and also against your criteria, your agent will prepare to give an offer from you to the seller. Your agent will negotiate all the terms to make sure you get the BEST DEAL (including the previous purchase option and the signing in a public notary) with the BEST PRICE.

STEP 5- The AFTER SALES DON´T WORRY PACKAGE

Your agent will help you pay purchase tax and change all contracts related to the property to your name (electricity, water, telephone, internet ….)
